Additional charges may apply for circumstances such as:

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information.

You are responsible for:

• Accurately describing the cargo
• Providing correct weight and dimensions
• Disclosing the cargo value
• Properly packaging and labeling the shipment
• Providing required documents
• Obtaining required permits and approvals
• Disclosing dangerous, hazardous, restricted, or regulated materials
• Complying with import and export requirements
• Paying duties, taxes, fees, and other applicable charges
• Ensuring that pickup and delivery locations can legally and safely receive the shipment
• Confirming loading docks, forklifts, liftgates, appointments, or other facility requirements
• Reviewing shipment and service documents before approval

You must not intentionally submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or incomplete information.

Freight Bridge Global and its partners may decline, suspend, or cancel a service when information is incomplete, inaccurate, unlawful, or creates an unacceptable operational or compliance risk.

7. Restricted and Prohibited Cargo

You may not use Freight Bridge Global services for illegal goods or any shipment prohibited by applicable law.

The following cargo requires advance written disclosure and may require special approval:

• Hazardous or dangerous materials
• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Controlled substances
• Alcohol or tobacco products
• Pharmaceuticals or medical products
• Perishable or temperature-controlled goods
• Live animals
• Plants, seeds, or agricultural products

Freight Bridge Global or the applicable provider may refuse any cargo that cannot be transported, stored, imported, exported, or insured lawfully and safely.

Failure to disclose restricted cargo may result in cancellation, additional charges, reporting to authorities, loss of coverage, cargo disposal where legally required, and liability for resulting losses or expenses.

8. Customs, Import, and Export Matters

Freight Bridge Global may provide document coordination and customs broker handoff support.

Freight Bridge Global does not provide legal or customs brokerage advice unless such services are expressly provided through a properly authorized professional under a separate written arrangement.

The customer remains responsible for:

• Accurate product descriptions
• Tariff classifications
• Country-of-origin information
• Declared values
• Licenses and permits
• Importer or exporter registrations
• Duties and taxes
• Compliance with sanctions and trade restrictions
• Accuracy of customs documents

Customs authorities may inspect, delay, reject, seize, or assess additional charges against cargo. Freight Bridge Global does not control government decisions or customs processing times.

9. Transit Times and Delivery Estimates

All pickup, transit, customs, warehouse, and delivery times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement by the responsible service provider.

Delays may occur because of:

• Traffic
• Port congestion
• Customs inspections
• Government actions
• Carrier availability
• Warehouse congestion
• Appointment scheduling
• Mechanical problems
• Labor disruptions
• Documentation issues
• Incorrect shipment information
• Force majeure events
• Other circumstances outside reasonable control

Freight Bridge Global does not guarantee delivery dates or transit times merely because an estimate appears on the website, in an email, or in a preliminary quote.

10. Cargo Packaging and Condition

The customer is responsible for ensuring that cargo is safely and adequately packaged for the intended method of transportation and handling.

Packaging should be appropriate for:

• Truck transportation
• Air freight
• Ocean freight
• Forklift handling
• Pallet movement
• Stacking
• Warehouse storage
• Temperature or environmental conditions
• International transit

Freight Bridge Global may recommend packaging or handling options, but those recommendations do not transfer responsibility for proper packaging unless Freight Bridge Global expressly agrees in writing to provide packing services.

Visible damage, shortage, or loss should be documented immediately and reported according to the applicable provider’s claim procedures.

11. Cargo Claims and Liability

Cargo-loss, damage, shortage, or delay claims may be governed by:

• The performing carrier’s terms
• The freight broker’s terms
• The warehouse operator’s terms
• The bill of lading
• The air waybill
• The ocean bill of lading
• Applicable transportation laws
• International conventions
• The applicable insurance policy
• A separate written service agreement

Claim deadlines may be short. Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable documents and reporting claims promptly.

Freight Bridge Global does not assume carrier, warehouse, customs, or insurer liability unless such responsibility is expressly accepted in a written agreement signed by Freight Bridge Global.

12. Insurance Support

Freight Bridge Global may help connect customers with licensed insurance professionals.

Freight Bridge Global does not issue insurance policies, bind insurance coverage, guarantee coverage, or make underwriting decisions unless it is expressly authorized and licensed to do so.

Insurance availability, pricing, limits, exclusions, eligibility, and claims decisions are determined by the applicable licensed professional and insurance carrier.

A request for insurance information does not create coverage. Coverage begins only when confirmed by an authorized insurance provider in writing.

Customers should independently review insurance limits and determine whether additional cargo, commercial auto, trucking, general liability, property, or business coverage is necessary.

13. Payments and Charges

Payment terms will be stated in the applicable quote, invoice, service order, or written agreement.

You agree to pay all authorized charges relating to the requested services.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

• Prices may exclude duties, taxes, customs charges, inspections, storage, demurrage, detention, and other third-party charges
• Services may be withheld until required payments or deposits are received
• Late payments may result in suspension of services
• Bank, currency-conversion, card-processing, and transfer fees may be charged where applicable
• Refund eligibility depends on the stage of service and any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred

Freight Bridge Global may correct obvious pricing, typographical, or calculation errors before accepting a service request.

14. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellation and change requests must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation or change charges may apply when:

• A carrier has been dispatched
• Warehouse work has started
• Space has been booked
• Documentation has been prepared
• Customs or export work has begun
• A pickup appointment has been scheduled
• Third-party fees have been incurred
• A provider imposes cancellation charges

Any refund will be reduced by non-refundable costs, completed work, partner charges, administrative fees where lawful, and expenses already incurred.
